Workshop: Make a Fanny Pack/Crossbody Bag, 6/8/24, 12:30-4pm

We are going to use a free pattern from Core Fabric Store to make a super-cute and useful Fanny Pack/Crossbody Bag in this afternoon-long workshop!

Class is Saturday, June 8, from 12:30pm-4:00pm. 

Workshop fee includes all materials you need to complete your Fanny Pack, including a Fat Quarter each of Cotton Canvas and Quilting Cotton. If you have fabric you'd like to use in your stash, feel free to bring it.

Skills taught:

• Cutting fabric pieces & transferring markings
• Sewing a zipper (and learning about using zippers)
• Basic bag sewing, including linings

Bring your sewing machine, regular sewing foot, zipper foot, and thread to this class. If you don't have a sewing machine, we do have a few that folks can use, so note in your order if you need one. 

The pattern we are using has 2 sizes. We are making the smaller one in class, but I will have examples of both for you to see, and the larger one is made the exact same (just uses more fabric).
