This past year has been hard, y’all! It’s been hard for a lot of small businesses, and we are no exception. We’ve been brainstorming ways to keep on keeping on, and one exciting idea we came up with (with a LOT of input from other small biz friends) is this: the Friends of Knitted Wit’s Craft Emporium Membership. If you want to accomplish both the goals of seeing Knitted Wit & Craft Emporium survive, even thrive, AND have access to awesome patterns, how-tos, discounts, and private virtual hangs with awesome people, consider joining the club!
You can sign up for any of the levels below; please note that this will be a recurring membership, renewing every month. Membership perks begin in January 2024.
$5/month:
- The perk of helping a small business succeed, by allowing us to host shopping events and community-building gatherings, such as the Cast-On/Vision-Boarding event we hosted this past Monday, or the upcoming Palentine's Day event (2/10).
$10/month:
- The perk of helping a small business succeed, PLUS:
- A 10% discount on all regularly-priced items at the Craft Emporium shop (both online and in person).
$15/month:
- Everything above, PLUS:
- A featured Pattern/how to.
- A 15% discount on all regularly-priced items at the Craft Emporium shop (both online and in person).
$20/month:
- Everything above, PLUS:
- Private virtual meet-and-greet with designer/maker.
We have the first half of the year plotted out, and, y'all, our friends are talented! The patterns/tutorials listed below are available at the $15/month or more levels:
- January: Shannon will be teaching some string art techniques, perfect for decorating cardboard journal covers (we'll have kits of these) and/or greeting cards.
- February: Noriko Ho will be demonstrating her garter tab starting technique for top-down knit triangular shawls, and y'all will receive her Paulette pattern for free!
- March: Kira Dulaney will be sharing tunisian crochet techniques (specifically how to start the pattern she's sharing with us) and her Wind & Sea Shawl.
- April: Makenzie Alvarez, cable queen, will be sharing cabling best practices & a lovely cabled sock pattern!
- May: Maria Negrete will be teaching us how to make project bags, so we can be ready for all of our summer crafting! Maria is the owner of A Needle Runs Through It, and is our go-to for any time we have sewing or sewing machine questions!
- June: Sunni Scrivner will be sharing a tutorial on knitting mosaic colorwork and her Fretwork Cowl pattern.
We make every effort to ship as soon as possible after you place your order. We generally use USPS for shipping, and share tracking information.
In-store pickup is available, also. We send notices when your order is ready for in-store pickup.
If you order dyed-to-order yarn with any other products, order will ship/be ready to pick up when yarn is ready. We do not ship partial orders.
