In this class we will be learning the basics of English Paper Piecing (EPP) and then sew our EPP onto a tea towel or two napkins. Once learned, EPP is very relaxing and a wonderful quilting technique for portable, non-electric stitching.
All materials for your first EPP piece are provided by our instructor, Sailor Holladay, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer:
- Quilting fabric scraps bigger than 2 inches
- 50 wt cotton thread for piecing
- A tea towel or set of napkins for stitching EPP shapes onto
- Embroidery thread for hand quilting
- Milliner's needle Size 10
- Embroidery needle
