Beginning Sewing Workshop: Make a Book Sleeve 3/29/25, 1-4pm

This workshop is a great intro sewing class! If you are a newer sewer, or just want someone to hold your hand while you sharpen your skills, this class is for you!
We'll have a few different fabrics for you to choose from, with the ability to purchase more/put more kits together.
All materials are included, but if you have special fabrics from home, bring them, and we'll make them shine in this sweet project!
We have a few sewing machines that students can use (put in the notes if you need one), but if you have your own, we highly recommend you bring it, along with all sewing machine parts and any sewing tools/etc you have. We can help you figure out what is the most necessary components and what to use when!
Skills taught:
- cutting
- measuring
- use of pins/making a straight 1/4" seam
- bag-making skills (making and sewing a lining
- basic sewing
