Join us for a Charm Pack Challenge this weekend!

Our fabric distributor, Moda, has issued a Charm Pack Challenge for mid-January, and Lorajean said "challenge accepted" last week! She created the sweetest baby quilt in record time, and we'd like to invite you to take part in this challenge and make this wee quilt yourself!

The challenge requires a Charm Pack (a pack of 42 5" squares of fabric in a line), plus 2 yards of fabric: one for the background and binding, and one for the backing. Add a yard of batting, and some time and sweat equity, and you've got a wall hanging or baby quilt completely done! The challenge is to make it on the upcoming three-day weekend (Monday is MLK Jr Day, and we strongly encourage everyone to engage in acts of service to pay homage to Martin Luther King Jr, but there's no rule against both spending time quilting AND engaging in social good, is there?)

The pattern is called Moda Love Charm Quilt, and it's a free pattern that you can access here. To take part, choose your Charm Pack here, and add a yard each of background/binding fabric and backing fabric (and a yard of batting).
