This is a great beginner spindle, and the one we include with the Intro to Spinning Class taught by Lori Patterson!

The conical shape of the maple whorl puts additional weight around the rim, helping the spindle spin longer and stay more stable. A notch in the whorl helps keep your spun yarn in place. The spindles are individually crafted in Cincinnati, OH of maple and beech from domestic and international sources. The spindle is 10" long, rounded on both tips, has a 2.5" whorl, and weighs 1.8 ounces.

We make every effort to ship as soon as possible after you place your order. We generally use USPS for shipping, and share tracking information.

In-store pickup is available, also. We send notices when your order is ready for in-store pickup.

If you order dyed-to-order yarn with any other products, order will ship/be ready to pick up when yarn is ready. We do not ship partial orders.
